Well the audio was really quiet so that kinda sucks. Anyway this setup was probably around 0 to 0 depending on how many mics I am using. The MXL 990 mic pack is a great beginner setup. Also the Lexicon Alpha digital interface is a cheap way to get some recording software.

READ ME! this video is an install of the ebay china clone “Guitar Link USB” or also know as “USB Guitar Link” on Windows 7 64 bit. This unit is cloned from the BEHRINGER UCG102 interface. I’ve noticed myself or on youtube of any different ways to hook it up. Most don’t work for everybody. Some loop back a connection from the headphone out of the interface to the line in on the sound card, just to hear yourself. Vista/Win7 with asio drivers lock out any other output source (youtube or song if you playing to it). Meaning nothing wil play but what the asio driver is actually driving. So for example, guitar rig 5 is on, but you want to hear a song. Only thing works is GR5. CD drivers with unit don’t work for me, Neither do the behringer drivers. To some it works. Me and others, no. My only fix to allow many things played and heard at once with the asio working, is to roll back to Windows XP. But then latency can be different, so is the asio settings. NOTE: installing this on WINDOWS XP IS THE EXACT SAME AS SHOWN IN THE VIDEO. It detects just the same way and in the same manner… Enjoy!
